Current News

Research in Mathematics Education (RME) at Southern Methodist University is holding their 3rd annual Research-to-Practice Conference, generously supported by The Meadows Foundation. The conference is slated for February 28, 2014 from 8:30am to 4pm on the SMU campus.

With the implementation of the new Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) coming in the 2014-2015 school year, educators will need to make a transition to curriculum, instruction, and assessment within this new framework. The 2014 RME Research-to-Practice Conference will help educators anticipate these changes and prepare students for college and career readiness through the lens of the new TEKS.
